Braham Farm [TL533776]. Black Shuck, as he is called here, has
reportedly been seen "bounding" across the fields and the A10 road
between here and the village of Witchford. (1) Another source says that
he crosses the road at dusk, causing chaos among motorists. (2) He is
supposedly black, with shining eyes. It's said that until the early 1900s, the howls of 'shucky dogs' could be heard on moonless nights in Ely. (3) |
